2014 Nissan Rogue

Nissan redesigned the Rogue—their compact, competent, and cool crossover—for 2014. Despite the Rogue’s compact size, it’s actually a little bigger than the previous version. It offers more room on the interior of the vehicle and has a bigger presence on the outside without getting too bulky. The additional space makes the driving experience even more comfortable.

The 2014 Rogue is powered by 170-hp 2.5-liter four cylinder engine mated to an Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission, which transmits power to all four wheels. This combination makes for a very smooth ride. Don’t let the little four-cylinder engine fool you, though: it gives the Rogue plenty of power while maintaining an estimated 26/33 mpg. In addition to having a great engine, the Rogue also has sensors and cameras on the front and back that alerts drivers to road hazards.

Nissan equipped the Rogue with everything a driver needs to make the Rogue a comfortable utility vehicle. The Rogue has Nissan’s EX Flex Seating System, which allows passengers to adjust their seats any number of ways. Or, if you have no passengers, you can fold the seats down for more cargo space. Drivers also have the option of third-row seating, and the Rogue comes with the Power Liftgate and wide opening doors to make sure you can get everything you need into the trunk.

The dash of the vehicle features a touch screen that connects you to all the apps you need and the vehicle’s GPS system. The dash system also contains an iPod/USB input and hands-free text-messaging assistant via voice recognition software.
