The Top Three Chevy Vehicles

Since 1911, when Chevrolet was founded, the vehicle manufacturer has grown in scale and size, expanding into international markets, innovating year after year, and creating cars that leave a lasting mark in popular culture (think: Corvette and Camaro). For over a hundred years now, millions of people have sat behind the wheel of a Chevy vehicle and loved what they experienced. Today, Chevy’s line-up is better than ever. Here are the top three Chevy vehicles.

Silverado

Introduced in 1998, the Silverado has made itself indispensable to the Chevy line-up of vehicles. With each successive year, the Silverado offers car buyers updated features and designs. For example, select models of the 2015 Silverado will offer drivers 4G LTE Wi-Fi. Since its inception, the Silverado has largely been marketed as the standard pick-up truck in Chevy’s line-up, courting those who would use it for agricultural purposes. Different trim options and body styles make the Silverado customizable, and the hybrid version satisfies a driver who wants high performance with environmental consciousness.

Malibu

Chevy first introduced the Malibu in 1964 and continued produce it until 1983. In 1997, Chevy brought the Malibu back, and, since then, this mid-size vehicle has people the world over going crazy. Originally, the Malibu name only denoted a trim style for the Chevelle. A little later, car buyers had a range of options in the Malibu name, from sporty coupes to four-door sedans. Subsequent generations of the Chevelle and Malibu offered new grilles, redesigned exteriors, updated headlights and taillights, and more. The Chevy Malibu was a popular body style choice for NASCAR drivers from 1973-1983. Since its reintroduction in 1997, the Malibu has spawned several generations, growing in length and offering a popular hybrid version as well as dozens of features, engine styles, and trim options.

Cruze

The most recent addition to Chevy’s lineup out of this list, the Cruze was introduced in 2008. Available mostly as a four-door sedan, the Cruze also comes as a five-door sedan and as a station wagon. In 2009, the Australasian New Car Assessment Program awarded a full five stars to the Chevy Cruze in its crash test ratings. Other safety-rating organizations have also ranked the Cruze high for safety. Unfortunately, in 2011, 2012, and 2013, Chevy has had to recall some of the Cruzes manufactured in certain plants. However, things are looking good for the Cruze, as its 2015 model will offer onboard Wi-Fi.

Each of these Chevy models offer consumers multiple customization options and engine styles, so each car buyer can make the car their own. Visit one of our two Chevrolet dealerships today to find the right make and model for you!
