To wash your new Nissan, remove dirt with a wet sponge and plenty of water. Use a mild soap or gentle dishwashing liquid mixed with clean lukewarm water. Then rinse with clear water. Clean the inner edges of doors, flanges and hood to remove dirt and debris. It is recommended that you wax and polish your vehicle using only the types of products suggested by your NISSAN service department. For spot removal, wipe away tar, oil, dirt, insects, tree sap and other abrasive material as soon as possible. If you do, you will reduce the chance of paint damage or permanent stains. Wash wheels regularly and clean chrome areas with a non-abrasive polish.
It takes very little time and effort to keep your Nissan’s interior looking like new. You can remove loose dust and debris using a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush. Wipe all vinyl and leather surfaces (if so equipped) with a clean, soft cloth. Dampen it with water and a mild soap solution if necessary. Then rinse and wipe again with a dry cloth. For cleaning the meter and gauge lenses, use a cloth dampened only with water. Be aware that some cleaners, detergents and fabric protectors could harm your interior finishes and fabrics.
